I love my wardrobe but all I wear is black because I like the way it makes my hair pop (I am a blond). I am so over pink and girlie fashion I really am into edgy looks, can you help me???

Sometimes I wish I were blond. If I could blond, I would go like white blond. Anyways, I am getting really off topic here.

Since you are moving from a wardrobe filled with black, moving to something pink and girlie would be too shocking. I suggest you try a cobalt blue first. Its got color, its still deep in shade, and its easy to work in some edginess.

Once you are ready work into something a bit lighter, I would go with a sky blue — that will really make your hair pop. Greens are also a nice options for blondies like yourself.

Boy do I love that Mary Kate! She has style. Something about being able to throw on a ridiculous over sized tee, fab jewelry, sunglasses, and look utterly fab … That’s freaking style. Anyways … When I first read your email, the first thing that came to mind was Gemma Redux. The necklaces on Gemma Redux totally fit that style and are sooo fabulous. Gemma Redux is a Gossip Girl favorite, so I highly suggest getting the look there.

I am 36 years old, unfortunately with my apple figure is very difficult to find clothes that fit right.

I would like to want to know if an apple figure can wear belts or wide legged pants/jeans. Are the wide legged pants/jeans past season? What other type of clothing would you recommend for my figure.

Apple shaped women tend to store their weight in their stomachs, breasts, and often have wider backs. Basically, you are a bit top heavy. However, apple shaped woman have the luxury of having nice slim legs! So when you are body isn’t quite in proportion you have to do a couple of things. 1.) Add balance to your body with your clothes 2.) Show off your best parts with your clothes.

Easier said than done right? Well that’s why you have me. Here are a couple of my favorite tips for apple shaped women.

– Belts are cool, if you choose the right one! Go for a belt that cinches your narrowest part, which is often by the ribcage

– Accessories, accessories, accessories! Wear fun jewelry and things around your face to draw the emphasis up to your gorgeous face, rather than your center.

– Wrap dresses are your friend. Basically the are almost any woman’s friend. This will slim you and create a nice diagonal line, which will help take emphasis off your waist. Also make sure the hemline is short enough to show off your slim legs.

– Trouser cut pants and straight leg pants are a plus. Don’t go for skinny cuts because they will make your top look bigger. You also want to be careful with how wide you go with wide leg pants. Too wide will make your overall silhouette look wider.

– Monochromatic ensembles. Wearing too many different colors breaks up your body and points out your trouble zones. A monochromatic outfit will streamline you and that is exactly the thing you are looking for.

– Shorter is better. Of course don’t go too short but chances are your legs are worth showing off, so don’t be afraid to.

I have two different skirts. One of them is a boho skirt, and I would like to wear it in Blair’s style or LiLo’s style. The other one is a high waist print skirt. Please provide some tips on how do I wear them!

For skirt #1, we are going to have to go with Lohan’s style because Blair probably wouldn’t go all boho on us, know what I’m sayin? Anyways, I would go very casual with the boho skirt. A nice fitting black tank top, maybe a vest, and gladiator boots. Oh and don’t forget the hobo bag.

For skirt #2, its such a statement piece on its own so you don’t need much. A black tank, aqua cardigan, a strand of pearls, and red ballet flats witll do the trick. Very Blair if you ask me.

I recently bought a cardigan from Forever 21’s brand “twelve by twelve.” It’s sea foam green and black vertical stripes and a black bow at the neckline. I have been wondering and wondering what to wear with it and came up with nothing … Please help!

Oh the possibilities are endless, honey! Here are few ideas to get you started

For work: Black pencil skirt, black shell, Mary Jane pumps, and a strand of pearls

For play: Pink tube dress, big black clutch, and killer heels

For everyday: Boot cut jeans, black ballet flats, and a simple white tank top

Basically, you don’t need to do too much with the outfit. Just build yourself a nice simple base and layer with the sweater. Keep the colors neutral and if you do add a “color- color”. stick to one color and go simple on the accessories.

You can do it, I know you can … Now go build that outfit!

I am going to a graduation ceremony and I don’t know what to wear! I want to wear a dress or skirt but nothing to formal. I was thinking about something more summery and simple, but still chic. My style is a little bit girly, a little bit rock and I love flowy skirts and dresses. It is in the evening but won’t be very cold since I live in San Diego.

I would go with a floral dress that is accessorized with a studded waist belt. It’s girly, it’s edgy, it’s cool, and its not too formal.

I am in desperate need of some help here! I have fallen in LOVE with the Christian Louboutin Very Noued in Pink and want to sport them under my dress on our Wedding Day in August! Problem is there is just not enough in the wedding budget for $695 shoes.

I have seen some pictures of some shoes in photos that look very similar but have been unsuccessful in finding a pair of lookalikes for sale. I don’t mind spending $100- $175 for a good pair of lookalikes…also in the same pink color… Any suggestions??

I found one pair that fits the style and is pink. They aren’t perfect but they are pretty. Oh and did I mention they are $75?!

If you hate them, just get the Louboutin’s and return some of the stuff from you registry to make up the difference. I mean, how often are you really going to use that cheese plate?
