Hello Gorgeous!

Anyone can buy some beads slap it on a chain and call it jewelry. However, not everyone can produce something completely mind blowing out of those same materials. Check out Spipo by Rickina (http://www.spipo.com ) Charismatic, Colorful, Custom Jewelry with SparK. A great selection of jewelry from earrings to brooches….Necklaces to hair ‘candy’

I don’t even wear earrings (I have an earlobe complex…Call me crazy! I am fine it) but I found earrings here that I just had to have. I am a total sucker for quirky and original necklaces- I found 2 can’t live without it pieces (pictured below). Check out the site for yourself and tell me what you think.

I think I may have a problem

Remember the other day how I said I went through my closet and got rid of thing? Well I did. 3 giants bags worth actually ( I am talking trash bags here) But look at my closet, does it look like I got rid of anything? I think I have a problem. ( I left out the pictures of my accessory corner, tee shirt dresser, lingerie drawers, and my handbag collection, and giant heap of clothes that need to be washed…see what I mean about that problem)

First half of the closet- dresses and folded items (pants, cardigans, and light weight sweaters)

Second half of the clothes rack (tops and skirts) Underneath that is 2 giant bins filled with workout clothes in one, and socks in the other.

My shoes collection
My Denim Collection (this does not included the 5 pairs in the hamper 😉

Vintage Chick

I only had about an hour to spare this weekend- so what did I do with it? I went shopping. I ran out of my apartment and made a mad dash into Eclectic Threads (my favorite store like ever!) Typically I am the only one in there digging around for something cute and original, but this time it was pretty darn crowded. Didn’t stop me from spending some money- although I think I could have spent more if I wasn’t so rushed. Any WHO…. Here are my winnings.

Skulls on your Skull

I don’t care that the skull trend has taken over the world. I have always loved skulls so I am eating it up (although it does bother me that not everyone knows I have always loved skulls).

Cara has done it again with some ultra cute accessories, skull bobby pins. With a head of hair like mine I can’t always find accessories that suit me, but these will do just fine. Cara Couture Skull Bobby Pins $32

Closet Clean Sweep

I went on a rampage this evening. I started clearing out my closet of things I don’t wear or need. I find that I really hang on to things. I often have the feeling something will come back in and I will regret ever getting rid of it. I left those feelings at the door today, and cleaned house.

Sold some items to Annie Cream Cheese (www.anniecreamcheese.com), a vintage/ designer boutique that gives you cash for your designer duds.

The rest of the items will be divided up into 4 categories…

  1. ebay it! (even though I don’t think I have the patience for that)
  2. Donate
  3. Give to my cousin or friends
  4. No one wants that shit- toss it!

Of course since doing this, I want nothing more than to buy more stuff. Ready for a change in wardrobe… Ready, set, spend!

Yum Yum

Men will never understand, but women can NEVER have enough shoes. It is beyond true. I have scaled down my shoe collection to a modest 70 pairs, and I still have unworn outfits because I don’t have the proper shoes.

I think the problem occurs (at least with me) that I find some kick butt shoes and just buy them. Do I bother to think about what I will wear them with? No. Same goes with clothes… buy, buy, buy (think later.

Here is another case. Bestey Johnson shoes on Zappos.com ($163). Have to have them…so cute…so yummy!

Dear Fashion Kitty

I was hoping you could help identify the purse Lindsay Lohan in carrying in the attached picture: http://people.aol.com/people/galleries/0,19884,1203575_11,00.html I absolutely ADORE the purse but I have no idea what it is- I was thinking maybe Kooba but not sure of the style name. I doubt I can afford it once I figure it out but at least I can campout on Ebay if I know the designer!! Thanks so much!

Dear Bag Hunter-

I have searched high and low to identify that exact bag. However, I afraid I am only coming up with close seconds. Could be that Fashion Kitty is looking in all the wrong places OR Miss Lohan was given a designer sample that isn’t available for us regular folks.

Here is what I found that may feed your bag craving.

Bulga Butterfly Bag (comes in many sizes) $418

Kooba Carla Bag $650 (this bag also comes in a lighter tan color)

***Fashion Kitty readers, if you know the exact version of L. Lohan’s bag- please leave a comment. Thanks doll babies!!!!
