Luxury for Less on Hollywood Boulevard

Hollywood Boulevard is not exactly a known for its great shopping. Its more like a tourist trap that I try to avoid at all costs. Sure they have some decent stores but nothing special enough to get me onto the dreaded Boulevard.

Until today …  Because a brand spanking new Marshalls just opened up on Hollywood Boulevard and you know I was there right when the doors opened.

First of all, if you are in the area today, stop by for the Grand Opening. There are cookies (cookies make everything a lot more exciting), free reusable hopping totes, giveaways, a DJ, and some questionable characters break dancing in the middle of store. Pretty positive they weren’t hired by Marshalls but it was entertaining all the same.

Since I have decorating on the brain, I started in the home section. There will some amazing chevron lamps that were begging me to take them home but sadly they don’t match my new apartment. So if you need a pair of chevron lamps, go get them! They also had tons of fancy cookware (Le Creuset, hello) and some fun doggie goodies for Yohji, who of course accompanied me on my shopping trip.

Once I was through being a domestic diva it was on to the clothes. I scored myself a Vince jacket for $49.99. Original price? $625.00.

Yep. I left happy.
