Can you believe summer is almost over? I can’t. What I can tell you that I am excited for it to end. I just love fall so much better. Fall fashion is better and, to be honest; fall beauty is better too. The fact that my makeup won’t be running off of my face is actually a reason enough but my heart does beat a little faster for darker nail color options, restocking my beauty cabinet with the essentials, and all the new goodies that come out for the new season.
I started shopping for my fall beauty essentials at good old Walmart and picked up 10 of my favorite things for fall.
1.) NEUTROGENA® Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
I love these makeover remover towelettes to take off my eye makeup and also for the days where I have to wear heavy makeup (photo shoots, videos, etc.). I find it best to give my ace a once over before hitting with my Clarisonic.
2.) Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel
The look of gel nails = awesome. The harsh UV lights = not so awesome. Revlon must have been listening to my prayers because their Gel Envy polish is pretty sweet. Goes on easy, the colors are great, and so far I am completely chip-free.
3.) Revlon ColorStay Liquid Makeup for Combination/Oily Skin
I’m not gonna lie; I spend WAY too much money on foundation ($125 per bottle). I ran out of my pricey foundation on the same exact day I had a video shoot with a pro makeup artist. She recommended Revlon ColorStay. Not only does she name it the best on the market, she actually uses the brand herself! I picked up a bottle at Walmart and look forward to trying it out myself.
More wipes? Don’t mind if I do! Told you I was a hoarder. But seriously, what I love about these in particular is that they are free from all the bad stuff like oils, alcohol, and dyes. In a nutshell, simple wipes to remove all of that complex makeup.
5.) Pantene Truly Natural Hair Clarifying Shampoo
Back when I had relaxed hair I used Pantene’s relaxed hair care line. Since going natural, I was forced to ditch my go-to and have been on the search a new shampoo. So you can imagine my delight when I saw that Pantene has a natural hair shampoo now. Perhaps they’ve had it all along, and I never took notice, whatever the case may be – I have it now and I am beyond excited.
6.) Pantene Truly Natural Hair Deep Conditioner
P.S. I got the conditioner too!
7.) L’Oreal Miss Manga
Who could resist a mascara with such adorable packaging? Not me! It was time to replace my mascara anyways plus I have heard amazing things about Miss Manga. Well, this mascara didn’t disappoint. Super dark and defined lashes that pop – like an adorable anime character.
8.) Eucerin Intensive Repair Hand Crème
Go ahead and call me old but my purse stash isn’t complete without a tube of hand cream (I think I am channeling my grandmother right now). Eucerin has always been a favorite because it just gets the job done
9.) NIVEA Crème Moisture Body Wash
If you are a regular around here, you know all about me and my body wash! Come fall I must-have a body wash that moisturizes as well. The fall air gets dry, and I refuse to let my skin suffer.
10.) LUBRIDERM® Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free
Speaking of moisture, the last item in my top 10 is lotion. LUBRIDERM® is the mack daddy of body lotions. I love this one because it’s fragrance free, and that leaves me with a nice blank palette for the new fall fragrance that I need to buy myself next.
That was my top 10 essentials for less! What are your must-have beauty products that won’t break the bank? Spill it in the comments or join the conversation on my Facebook page.
