I am a huge Nicole Richie fan. Not only is here style on point but the girl has no filter and says literally whatever comes to mind – and I think that’s awesome. If you haven’t seen here new show on VH1, Candidly Nicole, you are seriously missing out. This successful fashion and jewelry designer has come a long way from her Simple Life/ Paris Hilton’s sharp-tongued sidekick days. Her two collections, Winter Kate (clothing) and House of Harlow 1960 (accessories), have been welcomed to the fashion world with open arms. Nicole said that for both of these collections, her biggest inspiration was classic rock and that era/period of music.
Now let’s talk about her style. Nicole has a very earthy, bohemian yet edgy vibe. The fabric seems to just drape on the star’s petite frame and a tailor is her BFF. She loves vintage, hand-me-downs, and anything that has to do with classic rock. The girl loves color, and color loves her right back. Channeling a modern day Stevie Nicks, Nicole plays with prints, colors, and bold patterns. Practically anything looks good on her tiny little self. For her everyday style, she is usually seen in distressed denim and a loose-fitting top and her go-to over-sized sunnies. Nicole is a mother of two so comfort and stylish is an absolute must for her.
If you want to channel Nicole Richie you’ll definitely want to draw inspiration from her favorite designers Chanel, Pucci, Zandra Rhodes, YSL, Alaia, Hermes, Valentino, and Balmain. Look for long flowing dresses and vests if you are after her boho vibe 0r look for sharp tailoring in basic black or white for her new edgier look that matches her equally edgy hair.
