How to Become a Modern Day Bombshell
Gotta love some drugstore makeup. The price is right and to be quite honest, most of the time you can barely tell the difference between the expensive stuff and the less-than-expensive stuff. It seems like every time I hit Target, Ulta, or CVS; it’s guaranteed that I will walk out with some sort of beauty product I didn’t plan on purchasing. This week, however, I was sent on a mission to pick up a few items from 
I picked up Bombshell Volume by LashBlast™ Mascara, COVERGIRL Bombshell Shine Shadow by LashBlast™, and COVERGIRL Bombshell Intensity Liner at good old Target and immediately indulged in some beauty playtime when I got home. I first played on myself and then thought it would be fun to give my awesome assistant Anna a little makeover using the products. I wanted to give her a modern bombshell look like Lily Collins on the cover of Elle Canada.
And before we move on, lets keep this in mind … I’m not a makeup artist!! LOL. I’m a stylist but sometimes I like to pretend.
And on to the makeover … 
First I started with the Bombshell Shine Shadow, which is creamy metallic-y and awesome. I won’t name any names but I have a similar product from a super high end designer’s makeup line and this stuff is much better. It goes on smooth and the color has the right amount of intensity. I set it with a little shadow to not only to keep it in place but to boost the color as well.
TIP: Can’t find the right brush? Just use your finger.
I’m a huge liquid liner fan, so I was excited to try the Bombshell Intensity Liner. The coolest part about this liner is that it’s super easy to hold. I’ve tried a lot of felt marker like liners and this one is by far the most awesome. It goes on really black too, sometimes the marker types go on a little gray.
TRICK: If you mess up on applying your liner, correct it with a little lotion on a tissue.
And of course no bombshell is complete without a swipe (or ten) of mascara. The Bombshell Volume by LashBlast™ Mascara comes with a base coat and a top coat to ensure that your lashes are at their full bombshell potential. I’ve been using it all week and I love how it thickens and separates – plus the tube looks really rad.
TIP: A little white shadow underneath really makes your eyes pop!
