Best of 2013: Who Said 13 Was an Unlucky Number?

Last year I did one of these year in review dealios, so I figured lets try to keep this little tradition going for another year.

Before I begin, this post is more for me than it is for you (sorry, selfish). Seriously, it’s so easy for me to take each day for granted (I’m always on to the next one) and to forget about all of the incredible accomplishments and opportunities that have come my way.

So this post is serving both as my gratitude list and as little pat on the back.

Target

Name me one person who doesn’t love Target? I dare you. Well I love Target and was thrilled when they asked me to partner with them. I attended their exclusive fashion show in NYC and had a blast! Read all about it here>i-rhrLshf-XL

Adidas

I have always been a huge fan of adidas and when they asked me to partner with them??? I freaked out!!! Not only did I get to tour their campus in Portland but I also got to style looks and write for their site for fall/winter. Yay!!

Kris Jenner Show

Yep, I was on the Kris Jenner Show with Kathie Lee talking about accessories. They were drunk. It was crazy.

Beauty Ad Campaigns

I styled ads for Costco (Jenna Hipp, Orlando Pita, and Pati Dubroff’s lines) and NYX this year. Loved it!

Schon Magazine

I styled a fashion spread for Schon magazine and landed the cover!! My first cover might I add. Booyah!

Marshalls

Marshalls Fab Found campaign was good one. Not only did I get to style a bunch of fun looks using clothing from Marshalls, I also got to star in (and style) their video campaign.

Fashionista Conference

Luke Storey and I mentored and taught a break out class at the Fashionista How to Make it in Fashion conference in LA and NYC.

AMEX Fashion Week

American Express (a card I use a little too much) invited me to cover NY Fashion Week.  I got to experience the biggest fashion event of the season in the American Express Skybox. Plus, while I was there, Italian Vogue snapped me and posted my pic on their site!

Awesome Clients

I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of my personal styling clients this year and I was so happy to add some new stylish ladies to my roster. Woo hoo!

School of Style

School of Style continued to kick ass in 2013. This year marked our first ever Pop-up Tour across the country.  We visited Chicago, San Fransisco, Atlanta, DC, Dallas, and Miami. Oh and we also celebrated 5 YEARS in business with an awesome party at the W Hotel.

Glam

And finally, I became a Contributing Editor for Glam.com!! Read all about it here.

2013 was definitely a good year. Looking forward to seeing what 2014 brings. Something tells me it’s going to be even better than 2013.

Happy New Year everyone!!
