For me, holiday parties are the perfect excuse to dress up and have fun with fashion. I’m not talking office holiday parties either (how to dress for those parties here), I’m talking full on holiday parties.
Why not get all gussied up? If not now, when? Here are a couple of tips for making your holiday party attire stand out from the crowd.
Ditch the Basic Black
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so why not bust out some color! Red, gold, silver, green, plum, and royal blue are all great choices for a holiday party. Unless of course you find a super hot black dress like the one below …
Add Some Length
I don’t know about you but I never get to break out my long dresses. I’m always waiting for the perfect occasion and guess what? It never comes. This holiday season lets get all dressed up in long dresses- even if everyone else is sporting cocktail length dresses.

Obnoxious costume jewelry is always a welcome addition to a holiday ensemble. A handful of cocktail rings or a giant statement necklace will take your party dress to the next level.
Don’t Break the Bank
