The Road to a Rolex Watch

I’ve been through a litany of watches throughout my early years including a Mickey Mouse watch, a bunch of Swatch watches, a knock-off Baby G-Shock (I know, I know), and a silver Betsey Johnson watch.

Once I reached official adulthood, I told myself I wouldn’t wear a watch until I could afford a Rolex. Thanks to cell phones this promise wouldn’t be a very difficult one to keep. That was until I got sick and tired of reaching for my cell phone every time I was curious about the time. Not ready to buy a Rolex I had to make some adjustments to my plan.

I started with a great Fendi watch I found at Saks OFF 5th, which I still wear with dressier ensembles. But I needed a great watch for my everyday life. That’s when Watch Co.com stepped in and saved the day with this great Nixon watch. It’s of shockingly wonderful quality and is totally stylish – perfect for everyday use.watches

With my new watch safely secured to my wrist, I happily pushed my Rolex dreams to the side (it’s going to take a minute to save up $10,000 for watch) until I discovered a new site called Swiss-Wrist, which sells pre-loved Rolex watches for less. I actually found quite a few prospects for under $3,000.

I’m not officially ready to take the plunge yet (ask me again after a late night of online shopping) but at least I know my wrist is covered with a fabulous (and affordable) timepiece for the time being.

Disclosure of Compensation: Nixon watch was gifted from Watch Co.com. There was no obligation post, views are my own.
