Fab Finds at Marshalls: Sorbet Colors

spring 2013 sorbet trendWhen Marshalls asked me to shop for this spring’s hottest trends and style looks around them I jumped at the chance. I freaking love Marshalls. I mean, I was practically raised at Marshalls – so naturally I love it.

I still shop at Marshalls all the time (at least once or twice a week). Not only for myself but for my clients too. Words cannot describe the reactions I get when they realize I got them MAJOR designer deal at Marshalls.

Denim jacket, polka dot top, white jeans, chain strap handbag and shoes … all from Marshalls

My first styling challenge was the sorbet colors trend – mints, corals, and any other color that looks good enough to eat. There were so many options to choose from at Marshalls. I’m talking mint colored skinny jeans, 90s style open-knit sweaters, yummy looking tank tops … plus plenty of shoes and bags to go with.

After much debate, I landed on this adorable polka dot top in coral (perfect for my skin tone). I was tempted to go full on sorbet-color-block-crazy but instead I opted for a classic springtime look with white jeans and a denim jacket. My shoes? The greatest shoes on earth. I love them and you wouldn’t even begin believe me if I told the brand name or the price – so I won’t even bother 😉
