What I’m Wearing to NYFW: Day 1

Okay so New York Fashion Week hasn’t officially started (starts Feb. 7th) but it started for me, as I am already in full swing. This morning I attended a lovely little breakfast with American Express and decided to go all 70’s fortune teller for the occasion.

I started with this beautiful necklace by Anton Heunis, which I actually have in pink. I’ve had it for weeks and haven’t had the opportunity to bust it out. Wearing it with an unbuttoned-to the cleavage Alberta Ferretti silk top (mine has a pocket free with poufy shoulders) made for the perfect blend.

I almost wore my burgundy Mother jeans but something was off so I opted for a pair of dark wash J Brand leggings (best jeans ever) with a leopard print belt for good measure.

I finished the look with classic pointy toe pumps by Diane von Furstenberg and a vintage turban.

Viola! 70’s fortune teller does fancy fashion brunch.
