The Royal NYFW Treatment with American Express

As I mentioned earlier this week, I am working with American Express during this season’s New York Fashion Week. The mission: to experience fashion week through the eyes of an American Express card member (which I also happen to be). And may I just say that life is really sweet when you are an AMEX card member during fashion week.

First rad perk being the Skybox. Um, insane! I first experienced the American Express Skybox years ago when fashion week was at Bryant Park, I saw the Betsey Johnson runway show. Now of course the Skybox is at Lincoln Center and it is better than ever.

I don’t frequent sporting events (are you shocked) but I do know that when you watch a game in the skybox, it’s a pretty big deal. Same goes during fashion week. There are comfy chairs, a great view, snacks, drinks, magazines … you name it, the AMEX Skybox’s got it.

I watched the Tadashi Shoji runway show from the Skybox (more on that later) and the experience was so much cooler than sitting in the actual show. If I could watch all the shows from the Skybox I totally would.

Second awesome perk: complimentary car service! Yes, you heard me correctly- complimentary car service by Mercedes-Benz. Just head over to the American Express lounge and book your driver to take you anywhere you want.

This isn’t some crusty old Mercedes either, this is a brand new and completely gorgeous Mercedes-Benz with TV screens and everything. So good. Plus, the drivers are super nice and compliment your outfits.
