Front Row with Rimmel London

Fashion Week has to be my most favorite time of the year. It’s the perfect opportunity to experiment with the crazier pieces in my wardrobe and with the riskier items in my makeup drawer.

Fashion Week has come early thanks to this week’s Rimmel London Stay Glossy Challenge. For this final Rimmel London challenge, I was tasked to create a fashion-forward look with makeup to match. Talk about saving the best for last.

I styled my outfit around my Givenchy panther top aka the coolest button front shirt ever. I paired it with my leather leggings by Current Elliot, which I honestly can’t live without. I pulled the look together with a blazer from Dolce & Gabbana. For the shoes, I kept true to fashion week form with a pair of comfortable Jimmy Choo flats – the heels are reserved for sitting during the shows. And perhaps the most important element of the fashion week ensemble is the giant bag, mine is from Yves Saint Laurent.

On the beauty side of things I went a little more dramatic than I would in my daily life. I opted for both a bold eye and a bold lip. Hey, it’s fashion week- anything goes!

On my lips- I had to go back to the Black Diva shade. Where most people would be intimated by a jet-black lip gloss, I feel inspired and challenged by it. I mixed Black Diva with three other Stay Glossy shades to get that perfect purple pout. I started with one layer of Black Diva then added Endless Night, All Night Long, and My Eternity. Then for good measure another layer of Black Diva. I love how this color turned out.

On my eyes- I’ve become addicted to Rimmel London’s kohl liner in black. I rimmed my eyes with the black kohl pencil and then added a couple of thick coats of mascara – one coat of Rimmel London Scandal Eyes and one coat of Dior Show waterproof mascara.
