Trend Alert: Going Gold
One of my favorite trends for Fall 2012 is the gold trend. This trend can interpreted in a few different ways. The first way is very off the runway with brocades, velvets, and other rich fabrications. The second way is more casual, you can do this by incorporating gold sequins and gold jewelry into your everyday wardrobe. Whichever way you want to wear is totally up to you but the results is rich and totally on trend.
Tips for Wearing Gold this Fall…
#1 – Take inspiration from the far east with intricate patterns and rich brocades
#2- Metallic gold and rich buttery velvets go together like peanut butter and jelly … try it!
#3- When layering jewelry, mix different shades and degrees of gold for a more interesting look.
#4- When in doubt, do gold and black. Feeling more daring? Try gold and white for a change.
