If you follow me on Instagram or even read this blog you know that I am OBSESSED with Shwings. For those of you who don’t know Shwings are these magical little wings for you shoes. They make “new shoes fly and old shoes new”.
These babies have been featured in Elle magazine and have been spotted on celebrities like Elizabeth Gillies (Nickelodean’s “Victorious”) Brandon Smith (“So Random”) Anne Heche, Patricia Heaton, Neal McDonough, Billy Bush, Monet Mazur, Kevin Griffin (Better Than Ezra) and Ed Rollins (Collective Soul) … just to name a few. I would wear them with my flower converse to Coachella next year. Since it would be my first time, I want to be as free spirited as a wallflower and Shwings would be a great addition. I can’t wait for next year!!!
I would style my Shwings with a killer pair of sneaker wedges that I’ve got my eye on. I would keep the rest of my look muted and neutral so all eyes would be on the Shwings. Blazer, skinny jeans, sneaker wedges + Shwings & a fitted tee! Cool, comfy and awesome! 🙂Â

These fabulously flamboyant Shwings would be gracing the laces of my Nikes, which I run in nearly every single day of the week. And, although my minutes per mile are decent right now, I am betting that having my very own pair of Shwings would help me kick it up a few notches. Even if I am only ever a legend in my own mind, the Shwings would go a long way towards keeping the dream of being an Athena-in-training alive.
