How to Prep Your Skin for a Pool Party

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to strip down into your best swimsuit, sit poolside, and relax.

Sitting by the pool might be one of the most relaxing activities of the summer, unless of course you are self-conscious about your bikini-bod. I’m not talking about how firm your body is either. I’m talking about how hairy and stubbly your body is. Gross? Yes, but you know you can relate. Nothing is worse than getting invited to a last minute pool hang only to find out that you’ve missed a spot or 12 during your last shave. Not cool. Be ahead of the game this summer and prep your skin so that you’ll be ready for the next pool party.

Here is how I do it …

 1.) Get un-hairy! I’m a lazy shaver. If a dress shows 1/4 of my leg, then that’s what’s getting shaved. If I do shave my entire leg. I’ll inevitably forget my knees or ankles. I also fail to understand that shaving needs to happen quite often to stay smooth. So you know I was pumped to discover Philips Epilator. Do it once and stay smooth for 4-6 weeks. Seriously!!! 2.) Exfoliate yourself soft. A practice that often forget about during the winter months but is super key and important. This will keep your legs smooth and soft.
