Shopping Spree: Caruso Caruso

Last week I was in Detroit for the first time ever. It was a quick trip (I was speaking on a panel) but you know I made time to shop. Actually time was made for me to shop! I was given a gift card and one-hour to shop at Caruso Caruso in Birmingham, MI – sounds like the premise of a reality show doesn’t it. I of course made the most of my hour and had a blast doing it.

Caruso Caruso is a cute little  boutique that carries trendy contemporary clothing at a super-reasonable price point- they also have an incredible denim selection. During my shopping trip I was in full on stylist mode. I pulled anything and everything that caught my eye. A neon yellow button down, pink jeans, leopard jeans, floral jeans, a million pair of sunglasses, shorts, shirts … You name it. I pulled it.

Just when I thought I had pulled it all, I headed towards this table that was full on Michigan related tee shirts. I thought to myself, wouldn’t a Michigan shirt be an awesome addition to my purchases? Then I found the best shirt ever on that very table … the murder mitt tee. Hello, awesome!!

At the end of my hour I ended up with a pair of Klique B leopard print jeans (so cute and comfy), my murder mitt tee, a neon green belt, two pairs of sunglasses, and a neon yellow button down shirt. Oh and all for around $200. What?!! What?!!

So if you ever find yourself in Detroit, definitely stop by Caruso Caruso.
