Kohl’s Spring Trends Video Shoot

Can I start by saying this … I have the coolest career ever! A few months ago I was flown to New York to shoot a video for Kohl’s.  I was tasked with styling two looks for their Spring Trends campaign, wearing the looks, and talking about them on camera. Um hello, awesome!

There were six trends in the campaign; bold color, shine, white color blocking, tropical, exotic, and open stitch. My trend was the open stitch trend, which is all about airy knits for spring. I of course edged the look up with lots of layers and great accessories.

Look #1- I started out with this great sweater tank from Rock and Republic with a copper metallic tank by the Jennifer Lopez Collection underneath. I just can’t live life without some layers, so I added a draped sweatshirt by Simply Vera over top. On the bottom I wore the most comfortable jeans ever by Rock and Republic. Seriously, they are my favorite jeans right now. For accessories, I threw on some LC Lauren Conrad and layered up plenty of necklaces to complete the look.

Look #2- For my more casual look I was channeling Flash Dance.  I fell in love with this gray open-stitch sweater. It clearly needed something underneath, so I opted for another Jennifer Lopez Collection metallic tank, this time in pink. Since the top half of the outfit was so soft, I kept on that path and added a pair of white cropped jeans. The outfit clearly needed some sparkle and shine – so LC Lauren Conrad came to the rescue with some glitter ballet flats. A statement necklace and a bracelet completed the look.

Loved my looks, loved the video, loved it all. I really had the best time ever.  You know you want my looks too, so head on over to Kohl’s to scoop them up.
