Confession: I don’t just care about fashion, I care about the state of the earth too. Seriously. In my beauty regime I chose mostly organic and natural products. In my food life I only buy organic food and for the past two and a half years I have eliminated meat, fish, eggs, and milk from my diet. I also try to make eco-friendly choices when it comes to fashion too. It seems like with every year that passes, designers are getting more earth centered with their fabric choices and garment construction practices. Pretty soon eco-friendly fashion is going to be much easier to find.
With that being said, I of course said ‘yes’ when Timberland asked me to try out their new Timberland Earthkeepers™ boots. These boots are a classic tall stacked heel boot that are definitely going to be a part of my fall outdoorsy fashion routine. They are water-proof and comfortable, which makes them great for messing around outside.
These boots have oodles of other eco-features including being made of 100% recycled materials for the the lining. They are also pretty friendly on the wallet, retailing at $200. Oh! Something I discovered while giving these shoes a test run is that they run a smidge small so order a half size up.
