Barneys Warehouse Sale

I held out as long as I could but yesterday I broke down and went to the Barneys Warehouse Sale. It was definitely slim pickins’ but the markdowns were good — extra 60% off designer pieces, extra 50% off shoes, and extra 25% off contemporary. Lame part was, they closed at 5pm and my crew and I didn’t get there until 3pm. Which meant when 5pm rolled around we weren’t even close to being done but the employees definitely were. So sadly I only walked out with two items; a Jil Sander dress and an Ann Demeulemeester tank. However if time and money had permitted it, I would have left with more because a ton of stuff looked pretty darn amazing on me!! I needed more time to think before plunging into the purchase. You know?

This beaded vest was totally cool but didn’t make the cut

This dress was so beautiful on me, all it needed was a little chop of the hemline. I’m sad I left this at the store

These boots were so weird but so cool. Really pissed I didn’t get these, they were dirt cheap too. Dang it.

There was also a totally HOT Givenchy jacket. It was sooooo amazing but still too expensive even with the extra 60% off the lowest marked price.

I guess its best that I didn’t go crazy at the sale because my trip to NYC is coming up and you know how I feel about Century 21 AND the Barneys Warehouse Sale will be in NYC while I’m there too. Man, I love a good sale.
