OK, I know its seems like I am going all beauty blogger on you but I’m not. I’m just really excited about my new natural beauty stuff, so I feel compelled to share. Hope you are enjoying the content and maybe learning a little bit too. Anyways, on to the post …
About three weeks ago my skin went into adolescence mode. Like, for reals … pizza face. It was gross. Of course I covered it up with makeup but still, it was there and not very pleasant at all. I am pretty sure the skin drama occurred because I had just started drinking this really awesome alkaline water called Kangen water. I won’t bore you with the details but this water is highly alkaline and really good for you. When you start drinking the water you are supposed to start at a ph level of 8.5. Of course, since I am basically insane I started with the highest drinking water ph on the machine, which is 9.5. Going that high at the start won’t kill you but it will put you in an aggressive detox. My detox seemed to come out of my face. Sick!
Once that detox started, it further cemented in my dome that I have to be really concious of what I put in and on my body. So I really kicked the skincare regiment into high gear. So today, three weeks later, my skin is looking so good. I don’t know if I should give all the credit to the water, or to my new skincare routine, or both. Probably both because from here on out — this is my routine and I’m sticking to it:
1.) Kangen water- I drinking about 64 oz everyday (learn more about the water here or email me and I can send you more info)
2.) Burdock root– A supplement that improves your skin. I take 3 of these every morning.
I won’t bore you with the details on the other parts of my regime, because I’ve already blogged about them. But here is the list of the products in case you forgot:
3.) Yes to Carrots Facial Cleanser
4.) Organic Rosewater Toner
5.) Egyptian Magic
6.) Indian Healing Clay
Alright, end of beauty rant. But seriously, since being on this routine my skin has been awesome. It feels great and looks great. I have actually been able to stop wearing foundation. I only have to put on a bit of mineral powder. Really awesome stuff.
I meant to say this a long time ago, but you blogged about alkaline water and my doctor told me it was all bogus. Said don’t waste your money. Just lookin’ out for the Kitty!
