Sorry for the major lapse in posting. Life has been a bit crazy for me (good crazy). Lots and lots of life changes. One big change for me is something I announced yesterday via email, Twitter, and Facebook. For those of you who aren’t connected to me in that way, shame on you (hehe), here is the news …
After 3 years of employment, my working days at ThisNext are done. I will of course always remain a friend of TN because TN rocks and was such a huge part of my life and my career.
Of course, that news left many of you asking “what’s next?” Um, good question … lol. No, I have a vague answer for you. Right now I am taking this time off to pursue my dream of being a full-time stylist and to just do my own Lauren Messiah thing. For years I have said, ‘by the time I am 30 I will be my own boss.’ Well, I am 29 so lets get this party started already.
My plan is to put some genuine effort into all of the side projects that I have had cooking for a while, which includes … styling, my own personal blog/ brand, working on School of Style with Luke Storey, and any other fun fashiony social marketing projects that I can get my hot little hands on. I will of course be entertaining other options as they present themselves but right now I am just happy letting life do its thing.
So look forward to a lot more blog posts and some fun fashionable adventures with me.
Thanks everyone for reading and being so supportive of little old me!!!
LOVE YA!!!!
Lauren Messiah
