Homecoming Help: Welcome to the Jungle

Q- I need a homecoming dress that follow the theme Welcome to The Jungle. I don’t like big, bold prints. I am not the type of person to wear something crazy and loud. I have no um.. upper parts (thanks, Mother Nature) and I still want to follow the theme. Can you help?

A- These homecoming themes crack me up. I never went to any school dances so I don’t even know if we had themes back then, LOL! I can only imagine the sea of leopard prints and zebra prints that will be on that dance floor. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE an animal print, but the thought of a room full of it is kinda scaring me.

So point is, lets not go with that! The first thing that came to mind is something with a really interesting hem or a cool hair style coupled with some fun makeup to work in the theme. I would stay in the forest family when it comes to colors too, think browns, tans and greens. Nothing too pukey or camo-like, something wonderful and rich looking.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  1. Not sure how to ask a question here – but my school is also having a Welcome to the Jungle Dance, but not a single boy has a Clue what the Boys are supposed to wear. Can you please help or at least tell me the right way to submit a question here? Or if you had your dance already (person who asked a similar question) what did the boys wear?? Thanks.
