Come out and support L.A.’s fashion industry (we need the support) for Fashion’s Night Out in L.A.
I haven’t heard a ton of details about it yet because they don’t even mention L.A. on Fashion’s Night Out’s web page BUT I have read a few things on the LA Times sites. Here are some highlights (from the LA Times):
@Fred Segal — “Ron Herman and
the whole Fred Segal Melrose team will open the doors from 7 to 11 p.m.
for special appearances by designers, stylists, photographers and
artists. Chan Luu will showcase her newest wrap bracelets, Rory Beca
will debut her fall “Willy Wonka”-themed collection, Paige Geller will
demonstrate how to “destroy” your own jeans (love that), and Whitley
Kros designers Sophia Coloma and Marissa Ribisi will teach shoppers how
to perfect the oversized T-shirt look and introduce a limited-edition
style only available that night. Cobrasnake will be snapping photos and
selling T-shirts, while Nike designers are on hand to customize shoes
and much more.”
@Neiman Marcus — “At Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, the vibe will be more NYC (Nathan’s
hot dogs and Factors New York cheesecake will be served). From 6 to 9
p.m., there will be a jazz band, runway shows, special gifts with
purchase, and a trend presentation at 7 p.m. with Vogue West Coast
editor Lisa Love.”
@Rock and Republic — “the Robertson Boulevard boutique will be offering makeovers, giveaways
and limited-edition leggings for sale with gunmetal studding ($178).
CEO/creative director Michael Ball, never far from the center of
attention, will be guest-DJing. The official Fashion’s Night T-shirt
will also be available at the store, with a portion of proceeds
benefiting the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York ”
I’m going to hit up a few spots on Fashion’s Night Out … who’s with me?
