Perricone MD Giveaway

I am no expert when it comes to cosmeceuticals but I am a sucker for a doctor endorsed product. The truth is, I have no choice to be a sucker for such products!! I am getting older so I have to start taking better care of my skin. No more going to bed with a face full of makeup, no more skipping sunscreen, and I can’t skip moisturizing before bed either (although I do remember my tinted moisturizer during the day, 2 points for me.)

"Perricone" recommendations at ThisNext

So basically, if I have to take better care of my skin, then so do you!! BUT lucky for you all, I am making it easier by giving away a sample of Perricone MD’s best seller: Advanced Face Firming Activator, which retails at $120. Not only is it a best-seller, but Perricone products are favored among celebs such as Oprah (you know how I love me some Oprah.)

To enter, leave a comment with your favorite skin related beauty tip. I will pick the winner at random on August 14th. Good luck!

  1. I'd love to try Perricone products. Right now I use Bliss "Peeling Groovy" Facial Serum and "Youth As We Know It" Moisturizer. Love them!

  2. If you have a pimple, just put some toothpaste on it for a couple of minutes everyday and then it'll disappear! It's helped me a lot 🙂

  3. i live in canada, but i still wanted to give you guys my tip… if your going out and have a big, red zit just put a little visine (for red eyes) on it and it will take all the red out! this is super handy if your out and discover one through out the day. it lasts for a few hours!!

  4. Always remove your makeup at night no matter how tired you are.

I also highly recommend investing in a Clarisonic. I can't believe how smooth this makes my skin. It also makes all your great skincare products (such as Perricone) sink in better and you don't have to use quite as much.

  5. Like Jourdan Dunn, all I need is the Clinique 3 step system as far as cleanser and toner go. I change up with moisturizers though.

  6. Wash your makeup brushes regularly!!!!

I run warm water and a mild cleanser like Cetaphil over them and also let them soak.

Whenever I have a break out I ask myself if I've cleaned my brushes lately. Usually I haven't!

  7. Teh best tip is wearing sunscreen, either in your moisturizer, in sunscreen form, or in your make up, but wear some!

  8. a really great tip for puffy eyes (and now i wonder if this will work for pimples) is to dab a little Preparation H on the bags. it takes the swelling right out! (i read that early-morning news reporters use this trick to look alert + awake!)

  9. cut a clove of garlic in half and put in on your pimples once or twice and day and they are gone super fast! it's unbelievable!

  10. At night, use olive oil on your face when it is feeling really dry. It is an incredible moisturizer that doesn't clog pores, and it is also a potent antioxidant.

  11. I live in Canada but I also have a PO Box in the states lol not sure if that counts, but either way here's my tip anyways:

and inexpensive way to have super soft skin/lips:

Mix any kind of sugar with EVOO a drop of honey and a hint of vanilla (for a sweet smell) in an empty jar. Make sure you have more sugar than oil.
For people with oily skin, only use this on your lips, or anywhere else that may be dry.
Personally I use it in the shower all over my body and face because I have dryer skin and eczema… and my skin turns all smooth 🙂

  12. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

That includes drinking buckets of water as well as slathering on moisturizer every night and SPF moisturizer every morning!

  13. My favorite skin tip, doesn't have to do with the face, but on my legs I always get HORRIBLE razor burn, literally I always have little red dots everywhere, but then I tried using some of my old clean and clear toner on them after I shaved and no more red dots! It was amazing!
