I feel very confident about wearing frilly socks with the ballet flats after your compliments, will definitely ditch the leggings though. Could you guide me a little with anything that may be in the high street that can complete this look for me!

Here are a few ideas for your frilly ankle socks …

– A vintage 50’s style dress with frilly ankle socks and ballet flats

– Slim cut black cigarette pants with a short sleeved cardigan, frilly ankle socks and ballet flats

I also put together this look that I am kind of in love with. I took some simple black shorts, a white button down with a cute preppy sweater layered on top. In this look I put white socks (they didn’t have a visual of frilly socks) with some preppier heels.
