Dear Fashion Kitty, Ball Gown

I have a friend who is having a formal engagement party and she is looking for a ballgown type of dress. She likes a long one shoulder mermaid dress with possibly a bow or flower on the one shoulder. The she is looking for is off-white and her budget is $1000 more or less. We’ve been looking everywhere but haven’t had any luck yet. Have you seen such a thing? Any suggestion on where we should look?

The hem has a mermaid like quality and this dress had that one shoulder thing going on. I think its gorgeous. It’s marked down from $1,590.00 to $1,290.00.
