Dear Fashion Kitty, Can I Wear Saddle Shoes?

I love wearing saddle shoes and white fold over ankelts. Do you think this look is ok to wear or do I look dorky?

Well, your question is a tiny bit different because you incorporated socks into the look … Let me answer this in the clearest way possible — No fold over bobby socks with saddle shoes! Please, don’t do it. Unless you want to look like you are 5 years old, I strongly advise against it.

You can however, wear the shoes. Just wear them with socks that aren’t visible. I would work in the menswear look that is so hot for spring 09.
