Dear Fashion Kitty, Serena’s Hair

I just watched the Gossip Girl episode You’ve Got Yale and I cannot get over Serena’s fabulous hairstyle! I love the straight hair, but the little twist on the side is adorable. Can you tell me how to do that on myself??

I am no hair pro, in fact I am wearing a leopard print bucket hat today because I was too lazy to brush my hair, but I will do my best to help. To me this looks like stick straight hair with two beginning of braids on the sides. I would just take a section of hair, then start braiding it. Stop before you even complete one full braid. Next sure it with a hair tie and wrap some loose hair around the hair to hide the band. Good luck.
