I was just scouring 2K By Gingham‘s tee shirt selection to see if I could find something cool. And boy did I!
I think you all know this by now but I have a huge crush on Edie Sedgwick, she is my all time favorite celebrity. I am constantly looking for products with her gorgeously hip face on it or products inspired by her. Believe it or not these products aren’t that easy to find so when I was introduced to 2K by Gingham and found a bunch of Edie shirts, I was in heaven.
The photos on the Edie tee shirts are photos that were taken by Nat Finkelstein. Nat was a 1960’s photographer who was best known for his work with Andy Warhol as Warhol’s ‘unofficial’ in-house photographer . The photographs on these tees’s are now recognized as some of the best Warhol pictures in history.
I have the Edie closeup tee shirt. The only size available was a men’s large but I am wearing it anyways … Edie style, as a dress with black opaque tights and a leopard print coat. It’s gonna be so cute. As soon as it’s coat appropriate weather I will wear the ensemble and of course snap a photo for the “Clothes off My Back” section.
