Playing with Polyvore

I just spent the last 10 minutes of my life playing with Polyvore.com which is a site where you can play stylist by dragging and dropping articles of clothing in to a pseudo editorial spread. I love the concept of the site, but honestly it could use some work. The website itself isn’t very inspiring and the clothing, while there is a huge selection, seems a bit wildly spread out … not very easy to sift through.

I am sure once I play with a few more times I will grow to enjoy the experience more. Here is my first outfit, sure it’s nothing to write home about — but at least you can see how the tool works.

  1. I love this concept! I’m going to go play on the site now… And BTW- your hater ( from your hate mail post) is a retard – please learn how to spell obnoxious the correct way before you attempt to spew vitriol on someone’s blog.

  2. Actually, it’s really easy to upload just about any photo or graphic from almost anywhere on the Internet into Polyvor. And, if it’s not possible to get it directly from the website; you can save it and put it through an image hosting site like Photobucket.

As a matter of fact, those boots you put in your set are the Sergio Rossi’s I clipped from net-a-porter.com about three weeks ago.

So, all you have to do is install the clipper in your browser and get to clipping whatever your heart desires.

Have fun! Polyvor is a great place to express your creativity. You can style clothing, make interior designs or create art.

    Peace, Styln
