The moment you have all been waiting for …

My before and after shots ….

Mind you these pictures are ghetto. I took them myself. I am still afraid of myself, I look in the mirror and I don’t know who the hell it is. But here I am (I guess it’s me) so tell me what you think. And be nice bitches, I am fragile.

Before: Yes I know I am pale as ghost in one and tan in the other … I am tanned from riding in a convertible all weekend.

After:

Swept to the side, with a pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses, and pinned back with a little headband (which you can’t see in the picture). Oh and check me out … earrings, first time in a LONG time.

What’s left: My hair which I plan on donating if anyone has information on where I can donate my hair please email me.

  1. You look great, the new hairstyle is very cute. You can’t donate your hair, they can’t use dreadlocks. The only hair that can be donated is completely untreated hair (never colored, never permed, never treated in any way), and even then it might not get used. It’s sad that people don’t know this.
Be happy about your haircut instead!

  2. Great haircut!! It really frames your face nicely. Too bad you can’t donate that hair cuz it would make a sweet wig. I bet your head feels a lot lighter 🙂

  3. Your new cut looks great. I think dreads are cool, and you can clearly rock them, but I think the shorter hair is more flattering. It really brings out your facial features (especially eyes), and because your neck and jawline is more visable, you actually look as though you’ve lost weight. In the before pictures you look slim. In the after, you look model-slim. Enjoy the new you!

  4. while a.n is right that dreadlocks can’t be donated, you can donate if your hair has been colored or permed- just not bleached. it just has to be at least 10 inches long and in a ponytail or braid. As for the hair they don’t use for wigs…they sell it to offset the costs of wig production. you can go to locksoflove.org for more info on donating.

ps- love the short haircut 🙂

  5. WOW! You look FABU!!! Your locks were beautiful, but the new look is awesome! The bangs frame your beautiful eyes and bring out your natural beauty. You look like a Hollywood starlett! Change is Good!

  6. OMG!..You look like a sweet teen!!!…though d dreads looked great on you..guess you could always keep your dreads for keepsake!

  7. OMG I LOVE the new do! Now, you did say in a previous post that you were getting extensions? Did you end up needing them? Your hair looks AMAZING. I think you’ve inspired me 🙂
