Go Green or Go Home
EVERYONE is going green EVERYONE… It’s kind of like the “it” new trend. It does get a bit old to hear green in your ear every five minutes- but it is mega important. You don’t have to be all crunchy granola to be green you know…What have you done lately to go green? I switched out my traditional light bulbs for the CFL variety. I also plan on bringing a cloth bag to the grocery store (when I go) instead of wasting paper bags. Heck, even my new coffee table is made out recycled wood (the nails too).

It kind of amazes me how quickly this caught on. How sincere are these efforts, I have to ask myself. Is Green just another mass marketing attempt? I am completely behind eco-conscious lifestyles. I started an organization on my campus called the Environmental, Animal, and Human Rights Welfare League (EAHRWL) about 3 years ago. We’ve done a lot to improve our campus and community.
