My curiously drove me to buy this $22 Fiber Wig mascara. It was a strong curiosity because it has been a year since I retired myself from designer mascara. I was a Dior Show fan, then a Chanel fan…basically I tried it all once. Then I discovered for less than $5 I could get the same results at the drug store.
But this stuff is flying off the shelves in Japan and is now sold at Sephora (and only at Sephora). And I can see why…its cool and different. This mascara consists of tiny little fibers that cling on to your lashes and make them look like falsies. This “technology” if you will made it seem worth it for me to go against my $5 rule.
I tested it on one eye and compared them to my other eye with regular mascara; it does make your lashes longer. Looking like fakies that is to be determined…I have only used it once but I will keep you posted.
Have any of you used this product? What do you think of it? Mascara miracle or just another fad?
I haven’t tried it (of course it wont be available in Australia for the next 2 years lol) but the wand looks similar to the DiorShow want – which is what i currently use – so it looks like it may be the cheaper alternative.
Hi there, I was very curious about the Fibre Wig ‘technology’ and bought a tube to try too. It does extend and separate the lashes quite well, and really opens up the eyes. And if i didn’t read the packaging wrongly, you don’t need makeup remover to remove it, just your regular face-wash will do.
Sounds interesting. I just bought the Jan Marnii eyelash product that makes your lashes grow and get fuller (by a lot) in 3 weeks. I’m starting it tonight-we’ll see. 🙂
It’s absolutely fab! It’s available in Asia and it’s a must have for asian lashes like mine. Truly defining and lengthening and doesn’t clump (even with the tiny fibers). And washes off with normal facial cleansers. Best part is it doesn’t leave you panda eyes even after a long sweaty day! I swear by fiberwig!
Im a such a fake eyelash diva…and I read about this item in an Allure magazine once..I bought it and am really in love with it. It is neat, hardly has any smearing, and really extends your lashes. You do need about 2-3 coats to really see the affects, but it is really worth it and looks very natural.
