So how do you mix prints without looking like you got dressed in the dark? Here are a couple of tips:

Mixing Prints Tips …

#1- Ooze confidence! Seriously if you wear this trend with any reservations, the trend will end up wearing you. Not cool.

#2- Stay within the same color palette. Make sure there is a common color theme within the two different prints

#3- Or you can mix up the color palette but keep the prints alike (for example stripe on stripe in different colors)

$4- Use animal prints as your neutral. Try leopard pants with a floral top for a fun and stylish look.

Sitting by the pool might be one of the most relaxing activities of the summer, unless of course you are self-conscious about your bikini-bod. I’m not talking about how firm your body is either. I’m talking about how hairy and stubbly your body is. Gross? Yes, but you know you can relate. Nothing is worse than getting invited to a last minute pool hang only to find out that you’ve missed a spot or 12 during your last shave. Not cool. Be ahead of the game this summer and prep your skin so that you’ll be ready for the next pool party.

Here is how I do it …

 1.) Get un-hairy! I’m a lazy shaver. If a dress shows 1/4 of my leg, then that’s what’s getting shaved. If I do shave my entire leg. I’ll inevitably forget my knees or ankles. I also fail to understand that shaving needs to happen quite often to stay smooth. So you know I was pumped to discover Philips Epilator. Do it once and stay smooth for 4-6 weeks. Seriously!!! It works. I also use it under my arms to keep that area smooth and pool party ready as well.

2.) Exfoliate yourself soft. A practice that often forget about during the winter months but is super key and important. This will keep your legs smooth and soft.

3.) Moisturize and protect. Dry legs or any part of your body isn’t an option. Invest in a great moisturizer with SPF this summer.

4.) Shimmer and shine. There are a ton of amazing bronzing and shimmer do-dads available in the hot summer months. So get that bronze glow to increase your confidence and to just be sparkly this summer!

Pretty simple, huh? If you had to choose just one of the above steps to prep your skin – please for the love of other pool goers, pick the hair removal step. LOL!

I’ve accumulated some pretty amazing designer sneakers over the past few years but when it comes down to it my poufy high-tops and athletic shoes are the most comfortable. The question is how do I make them more stylish? Crazy shoe laces? That could work … I guess but I want more. So you could imagine my excitement when I was introduced to ShWings!

Kohl’s spring trends and I are like peanut butter and jelly … so darn good together!  I created another fabulous head-to-toe Kohl’s look that showcases the white color blocking trend that is so hot right now. It’s the new way to wear white this spring and I’m loving it. Know what else I am loving? The fact that this fabulous ensemble (clothes, shoes, accessories – the whole shebang) only cost me $100. Yep, one crisp hundred dollar bill.

There are a lot of beauty and skincare products that I am married to but when it comes to a cleanser and a daily moisturizer, I am still dating. So when AMBI sent me their entire skincare line I was happy to take it for a ride.

I started with the Even & Clear Foaming Cleanser. Love the smell of the product and love that it is hypo-allergenic. After a few days of using the product I had a genius idea (I have no idea if this is recommended or even proper) of using it as a body wash. Neon Styling Tips …

#1- Tone your look down by pairing neon with pastels. Try mixing a pair of neon pink jeans with a light pink top for an on trend/ not-as-blinding look.

#2- Rock a classic black dress with a day-glo pair of pumps. You can embrace the trend without looking like you’re trying too hard

#3- For a bolder look try neon color blocking. I love the combing orange and green for citrusy spring look.

#4- Don’t spend a ton of cash on this trend. H&M, Zara, and TopShop have a great selection of neon pieces for less right now.

I loved taking part in this video with Australian stylist Donny Galella. We got to cruise around London all day soaking in the sights, chatting about fashion, and checking out the new Westfield mall that has a clear view of the Olympic stadium. So amazing!
