There used to be a time where I lived for Black Friday. My friend and I would wake up all kinds of early and head out to score some deals. We young and crazy enough to deal with the lines and the obnoxious deal-hungry shoppers. Those days are done for me. Done. Now I am terrified to leave the house on big shopping days. I don’t care what kinds of deals are out there. I really don’t.
So this Black Friday I woke up and checked my email from iPhone, like I do every morning, and saw two wonderful things. 1.) an e-gift certificate and 2.) a sale alert for Alexander Wang (the dress I have wanted for months was now on major sale). So from the comfort of my own bed I ordered myself some gifts. I didn’t have to shower, get dressed, move, or spend very much money. It was a beautiful Black Friday.
