Jewel Tones: The Color Palette Anyone Can Wear

The list of “universally flattering” garments, colors, and silhouettes; are admittedly a pretty short list. However there is an entire family of colors that looks great on everyone … jewel tones. Yep, these rich and saturated colors compliment all skin tones and hair colors. All. Of. Them. So break out of your black trap and slap on some jewel tones.

Don’t know where to start? Let me show you the way …

Emerald Green

Nothing says money like emerald green. Rock this rich shade anyway you can – jewelry, accessories, or through your clothing. This color is especially awesome if you are a red head.

Sapphire Blue

Looking at my own wardrobe, I am seriously lacking in the blue department. Shame too, because this color looks amazing on everyone.

Ruby Red

The ultimate stunner shade. Red says power, wealth, and it’s also pretty darn sexy. The deep ruby shade is the best option if you are lost on which shade of red is perfect for you.

The richest of the jewel tones, royal purple. Get this color anyway you can. It also looks amazing on camera if you are ever in that position.
