Lauren’s Top 3 Must-See Hotspots in LA

Let me start this post by saying this, I’m not normal. When a normal person is asked to list out their top 3 hotspots in their city they will probably name an impossible to get in restaurant, a trendy club, and a fancy-pants store where the salesclerks will treat you like garbage for sport.

Well, like I said, I’m not normal. So don’t go on expecting my hotspots to be anything like I described above.

My idea of good time includes; shopping, chowing down on some vegan eats, and watching whatever I recorded on my DVR. Since my living room doesn’t count as a hotspot, I’ve got two shopping destinations and one place to get some healthy eats. Yep, I’m really living it up here in LA.

But seriously, these places really do rock and since they are in LA you are bound to see a celebrity or two.

The trendiest grocery store you’ll ever set foot in. Back in the day Erewhon was just a little hippie grocery store in Miracle Mile, now it’s full on LA (they have a freaking parking attendant). Everything they have is good for you. Organic, vegan, grass-fed, free range, cold-pressed, gluten-free – you name the trendy health food movement, they’ve got it. This is also where all of the healthy celebs shop. Last week I ran into Anne Hathaway in the produce department. I spend most of my money at this store – one $10 juice at a time. Sigh … photo copy 2

It’s not everyday you find a store in LA that make you feel like you are just going in to hang out with your friends. The customer service at Les Pommettes is top notch. I remember the first time I went into this store with my puppy Yohji. They closed the front door so he could run around and play. I always pop in here to find really unique and beautiful costume jewelry for myself and for my clients. Love. This. Big fan of Beckley. No wait, HUGE fan of Beckley. This is another spectacular little boutique in Los Angeles where everyone who works here is extremely nice! Let me tell you something, I have no time for people with stank attitudes. I will take my business elsewhere. Everyone at Beckley is sweet, knowledgeable, and stylish. Great selection of contemporary labels like Opening Ceremony, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Edie Borgo, and more. The store is beautiful and super-easy to shop.photobeckley boutique accessoriesbeckley boutique MJ HoneyHoney by Marc Jacobs is a sunny delicious floral – energetic and alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth. The fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear brightened with a splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. At the heart of the fragrance is orange blossom, a note of sparkling femininity that mingles with nectars of honeysuckle and peach. Honey, vanilla, and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.
